Busari Yakub greets Muslims at Hijrah, urges selfless service

 

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Busari Yakub otherwise called Donbay, has rejoiced with Muslim ummah on the occasion of this year’s Hijirah 1446 which signifies commencement of Islamic year.

In his goodwill statement on Sunday,charged Muslims in Oyo State and Nigeria at large to sustain the virtues of Hijirah as preached by Prophet Muhammad (S.AW)

Donbay urged Muslims to pray for peace, unity and progress of Nigeria during this period.

“As we celebrate the new Islamic Year, 1446 AH, let us reflect on the importance and historical significance of the Hijra and the overall teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and follow his examples,” he enjoined.

Busari enjoined Nigerians to continue to support and pray for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu so that the policies being formulated by President Tinubu could address the challenges facing the country.
