Oorelope LG chairman swears-in Supervisory Councillors, SAs



Organises free CBT training for SUBEB, TESCOM applicants

Executive chairman of Oorelope Local Government, Igboho, Hon. Jacob Oluwale Ogundiran, has sworn-in the 20 newly-appointed Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants in the council.

He charged the new appointees to discharge their duties with dedication to the local government and loyalty to the government of Governor 'Seyi Makinde, his administration at the council and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking at the event held at the event held at the Council Secretariat, Idi Elegba, Igboho, the chairman called on the new appointees to work with him to deliver the vision of repositioning the local government and making life more meaningful for its people.

He equally admonished them to key into the vision of Governor Makinde as contained in the Oyo State Roadmap for Sustainable Development, 2023-2027.

The event was attended by notable party leaders in the local government.

In another development, Hon. Ogundiran has organised a free training on Computer-Based Testing for more than 500 residents of the council, who applied for SUBEB appointments.

The training, which was held on Friday, 19th and Saturday, 20th July, was to prepare the applicants for the SUBEB CBT Test coming up next week.

According to the chairman, the training was part of his administration's determination to provide necessary support to the teeming youths of Oorelope Local Government seeking employments.

The training was held simultaneously at Irepo Grammar School, Igboho; Muslim High School, Bonni, Igboho; Igboho More Community Grammar School, Igboho and Comprehensive High School, Igbope.

"It should be noted that a similar training will be conducted for TESCOM applicants at a date to be announced later," Hon Ogundiran said.
