Alert: Olaide Mohammed disclaims fraudulent messages as fraudsters hack Whatsapp phone

The lawmaker representing Irepo, Oorelope and Olorunsogo federal constituency, Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed,has explained how fraudsters hacked his phone (+2348085991145) to deceive his friends to transfer millions of naira to them .

Muhammed ,in a statement made available to newsmen by his Special Assistant on Media ,

Ahmed Eniola Mustapha, said the scammers temporarily seized control of his WhatsApp, a message Application. 

The lawmaker, however, urged the public to be at alert while responding to messages or phone calls from friends. 

While disassociating himself from the fraudulent messages, advised his associates and friends not heed the call for help by transferring various amounts of money to the account numbers provided by the criminal elements. 

He assured that, the necessary steps have been taken to address the issue and prevent further misuse.
