Donbay urges electorates to vote APC Candidates to stop bondage and stagnation
Ahead of 2024 Local Government elections, a prominent member of All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council and chieftain in ATISBO LG ,Hon. Busari Yakub otherwise called Donbay, has called on his supporters across boards to intensify their efforts in mobilising voters to vote all candidates of the party in Oyo state and particularly in ATISBO LG .
Donbay openly made the declaration on Saturday, 20th April while addressing hundreds of his supporters and other members of the party in his sister's wedding ceremony held at his country home in Ago-Are, ATISBO LG.
He iterated that, the people at the grassroots in need of people of impeccable characters and pedigree to steer the ships of leadership, calling on the people to join in registering support for APC Candidates by making choices .
Donbay said ,it is imperative for mobilising his constituents to high level support for the candidates of the party in the overall interest of the masses and the party.
"I want to enjoin the people to make informal choices and not moved by deceitful sentiments which have kept the LG areas in bondage and stagnation barely five years .
We need to have APC leaders in our LG areas in order to bring about a seamless delivery of the dividends of democracy",he says .
Hon. Busari maintained that ,it is necessary for the party to have a larger voters' turnout to boost a number of voters for APC ,explaining the need for the party and his loyalists to be more committed to genuinely seek the success of the party at the polls.
Recall that, Busari Yakub was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC who vied for the House of Assembly seat for Saki East and Atisbo constituency in the 2023 general elections .
He,however,charged his loyalists to extend their network, canvass and strategise to reach every corner of ATISBO LG to educate, engage and mobilise voters to cast their ballots in favour of the APC Candidates.
Among those in attendance include APC chairmen in ATISBO and Saki East LGAS, Youth leaders and his coordinators
