Oyo :Makinde,Buhari,Abisodun,Others Attend Late Adedigba's 8-Day Prayer

The fidau (eight days ) prayer for the late Islamic scholar, Shiekh Tijani Adedigba ,who died on December 9,aged 110 ,was held on Sunday, 17th December in Tede Community, Atisbo LG of Oyo State. 

This newspaper can authoritatively report that, Gov. Seyi Makinde (represented); Senator Fatai Buhari; Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun (represented) and other dignitaries were present at the event .

The former Head of Service in Oyo State;Hannah Ogunesan ;Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland ,Edo and Delta States,Alh. Dawd Makanjuola as well as friends ,relatives and leagues of Imams and Alfas in Okeogun area also attended the occasion. 

Others at the event are traditional rulers in Okeogun including the Okere of Saki;Onitede of Tede;Olokaka of Okaka,among others to mention but a few. 







In his remarks, Sen. Fatai Buhari advised other Islamic clerics to imbibe the good deeds of the late Adedigba and promised to continue in his support for the league of Imams and Alfas. 

Speaking on the development, Hon. Micheal Akinfenwa said the communal efforts and impacts of the departed soul to the development of Tede Community would forever be remembered. 



Also,Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun (represented) prayed for the repose of the late cleric and pledged his continued contributions to the development of the Tede Community. 



Adedigba, who died on December 9,was interred on December 10,2023 in Tede Community. 

Before his passage, he was the Chief Imam of Tede and Chairman, leagues of Imams and Alfas in Okeogun area .

Adedigba was one of pioneering set of Baptist Day School, Tede in 1938.
